God is Love, and He's ready to show us what that looks like when we come to Him. People are hurting all around us. Death, divorce, and suicide are at an all-time high. For some of us, the masks we wear are filled with tears, while others don't have one tear drop left. Enough is Enough. Sadly, we just want the pain to go away. God, make it stop! Maybe if I drink it away, smoke it away, sex it away, shop it away, eat it away, cheat it away, run it away or work it away, I'll feel better.
Nope, it remains.
Pain. Despair. Despondency. Still there.
Looking. Lurking. Squatting on the remnants of your life.
I'm here to tell you God sees all and knows all. He is always eager to provide us with strength and guidance. Because clearly, we can't do it on our own. He just wants us to call on Him (and believe in faith).
Go ahead, just whisper to God.
His love is the greatest love of all.
As corny as it sounds when we surrender to God and trust Him, He will provide us with abundant grace and mercy. We can take comfort in knowing that God sees every single detail of our lives and loves us unconditionally, more than a fat kid love' cake. :-)
We can trust in God's unfailing love... because, according to 1 John 4:8 (NIV)
...God is love!
When I came to truly know Him, I felt seen, safe, loved, and free.
Love IS...
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Calling Your Name!
Who wouldn't serve a God like this? He will grant us freedom from the bondage of anxiety, depression, grief, and shame.
